Description
In December 2026, our Lexington, Tennessee show choir has been invited to participate in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Honolulu, Hawaii—a nationally recognized event honoring the heroes and lives affected by the attack on Pearl Harbor. This invitation is a tremendous honor for our students and a powerful opportunity to represent Lexington and West Tennessee on a national stage.
For our students, this experience goes far beyond performance. It is a living history lesson, a chance to honor veterans, and an opportunity to grow as leaders, musicians, and ambassadors for our community. Marching and singing in remembrance of those who served and sacrificed is a responsibility our students take seriously and with great pride.
To make this journey possible, we are seeking support from local Lexington-area businesses to help fund travel expenses, including airfare, lodging, uniforms, and logistical costs. These expenses are significant, and community partnerships are essential to ensuring every student can participate regardless of financial means.
By contributing, your business:
-
Directly supports local students and arts education
-
Helps preserve and honor American history and military sacrifice
-
Gains recognition as a community partner and supporter of youth achievement
-
Plays a role in sending Lexington’s voice across the nation
Every donation—large or small—brings us one step closer to standing in honor at Pearl Harbor and sharing our music with thousands in attendance. We are proud to represent Lexington, and with your help, we can ensure our students carry that pride all the way to Hawaii.
If you are a Lexington-area business interested in supporting this historic opportunity, we would be honored to partner with you. Together, we can turn community support into a moment of national remembrance.
Thank you for investing in our students, our arts, and our shared history.
